What is stokemeetup?
A group for people local or visiting Stoke-on-Trent in order to meet new people, socialise, make friends and plan events that otherwise wouldn't be possible alone.
How did stokemeetup originate?
A website called meetup.com. What started as 3 people, has grown into a community several hundred. Our meetup page is: http://meetu.ps/c/3Dg8L/CxhDR/d
How are events organised?
We have a select few events that are weekly, bi-weekly or monthly etc. Most events are suggested as they come along, or ideas are discussed within the group. Anyone can suggest an event! Simple post a suggestion in the meetup discussion thread.
What events do you do?
Anything and everything, we try and cater for everyone. If there is enough interest in an activity, it will be made into a meetup!
